TRIBUTE TO COL GREEN - PITTWATER HIGH SCHOOL MOURNS A VALUED TEACHER AND GOOD FRIEND COLIN GREEN Mr Colin Green, Col, taught Geography, Commerce and Business Studies for 38 years, his last 12 years at Pittwater High. He was a mentor to hundreds of students in that time and a good and supportive friend of many teachers. He took great delight in seeing the development of the young people in our school and pride in their achievements. While Col was a talented communicator it was through the example he set that most impressed those who knew him best. He was a kind and generous friend always there to lend a helping hand. Col Green was not only a dedicated teacher but also a keen sporting enthusiast. He was a proud member of the NSW Teachers Federation who believed in the collective responsibility of all to contribute to the common good. Col Green was a devoted husband to Bron and a loving father of Grace. He made us each want to be a better person.
