Nominations are called for New South Wales Teachers Federation (NSWTF) Branch Councillors from the following Associations and Groups of Associations:

  • Manly-Warringah (1)
  • Manning River (1)
  • Middle Harbour (1)
  • Narrabri-Wee Waa (1)
  • Newcastle (1)
  • OCAA (1)
  • Parramatta (2)
  • TAFETA (1)
  • Tamworth/Manilla/Barraba (1)

  • Nominations for the above offices open on 27 July 2015

    Written nominations which comply with the Organisation’s rules must reach the Returning Officer not later than 12 noon on Monday, 17 August 2015.

    Nominations cannot be withdrawn after the close of nominations.

    Nomination forms are available from me or the office of the Organisation. Nomination forms are also available on the organisation’s website, www.nswtf.org.au News— Australian Education Union New South Wales Teachers Federation (NSWTF) Branch - Branch Councillors Election (Round 2 Vacancies) and on the AEC website (www.aec.gov.au). The use of these forms is not compulsory provided that nominations comply with the rules of the organisation.

    Candidates may submit a statement to be included with ballot material. Only statements which comply with Rule 31(5)(d) of the AEU NSWTF Federal Branch Rules and are received by me by not later than 12 noon on 24 August 2015 will be published.

    By email: A properly completed nomination form including all necessary signatures and attachments may be scanned and submitted as a pdf file to nswelections@aec.gov.au

    Note: emails greater than 6 MB size may not be accepted by the AEC’s firewall.

    The ballot, if required, will open on Tuesday, 15 September 2015 and close at 10:00am on Wednesday, 14 October 2015.
