Coffs hosts popular course

Carly Boreland

The Centre for Professional Learning (CPL) held its inaugural courses in Coffs Harbour in September with primary and secondary courses held on three days.

The courses were well attended and highly evaluated, with members appreciating the shorter travel times to access our high-quality face-to-face courses and share their experiences and ideas with colleagues from local schools.

Our long-running and successful course, Lifting Achievement 7-12, began the week and was followed by two K-6 English courses on teaching spelling, reading and writing.

The CPL aims to offer programs that are useful across the spectrum of a teacher’s career from the early years of teaching to the experienced and leadership levels. All CPL courses and conferences are registered professional learning with NESA and can also support teachers to meet their professional learning goals through the performance and development framework.
