CPL courses 'high quality'

Carly Boreland
Assistant Director
Centre for Professional Learning

The Centre for Professional Learning (CPL) reached deeper into regional NSW in Term 3 with new courses in Parkes and Lismore.

Teachers were delighted with the quality of the content and presenters at both venues with participants travelling from distances as far away as Lightning Ridge to the primary English and primary and secondary mathematics courses at Parkes. Teachers also journeyed from Boggabilla to the primary courses for English, mathematics and choir and secondary courses for history and geography in Lismore.

In Term 4, the CPL will expand further to deliver high-quality professional learning in Queanbeyan as well as the highly popular primary school choir course in Albury in partnership with the Regional Conservatorium.

Completing a CPL course will contribute five hours of BOSTES registered professional development for teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
