The Public Education Peloton will ride again in the Sydney to ’Gong cycling event on Sunday, November 6. Two course options of 90km or 68km offer riders some of the most picturesque scenery in NSW such as through the Royal National Park and across the Sea Cliff Bridge.
Teachers, parents, friends and community members are all invited to participate in this wonderful event, fundraising for a great cause — to support Australians with multiple sclerosis. A social gathering with food and refreshments will be enjoyed at the finish.
Team kit will be available for purchase before the ride. If you would like to be involved or receive more information please email or call (02) 4228 4414.
New Gonski-themed jerseys were introduced last year for the ride, smartly marking out Federation’s team from the mass of other riders.
The Public Education team of about a dozen members come together from as far as the south coast, Temora and Bathurst to join 10,000 other participants in one of the state’s biggest community events.
The team has raised about $2000 to date for the MS Society and Peloton organisers are grateful to Teachers Mutual Bank and Teachers Health for their support.
