Race day will charity's major fundraiser in 2016

Champers, gee-gees, drinks, slap-up lunch, dancing, entertainment and more. Book your tickets now for a gala race day next June at Rosehill for which Stewart House has got a super deal from the organisers.

The inaugural ASX Thomson Reuters Race Day will be held on Saturday June 4 at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse at the Grand Pavilion with a gourmet champagne lunch, five-hour drinks package, dancing and entertainment and eight horse races.

Those who usually attend Stewart House’s Gala Ball will realise that this new event falls around the same time of the year. Stewart House will treat the race day as its major fundraising event and put the ball on hold for 2016, hoping to attract not only stalwart gala ball supporters but also others who might appreciate a less formal afternoon event. Members are invited to attend as individuals with friends and family.

ASX Thomson Reuters is expecting 1500 guests at this glittering charity event which will include top racing personalities and connections. Fun and entertainment will include Fashion in the Fields, a charity auction and raffle as well as music and dancing and, of course, a flutter on the horses.

ASX Thomson Reuters has offered Stewart House a rebate on each table booked for the day and is passing this on to supporters by offering discounted tickets at $150 per person. The price includes:

  • entry to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on June 4
  • complimentary parking in the infield of the race track
  • entry to the Grand Pavilion Ballroom with viewing terrace of the finishing straight and winning post
  • three-course sit-down gourmet lunch
  • glass of French champagne on arrival
