Election Notice

Rod Brown, Deputy Branch Secretary, Returning Officer, calls for nominations for the election of the following positions on the Australian Education Union NSW Teachers Federation Branch (AEU NSWTF) — TAFE Teachers Association (TAFE TA) Executive for the period 2016–2017.

  • Assistant Secretary (1)
  • Treasurer (1)
  • TAFE TA Women’s Coordinator (1)
  • Part-Time/Casual Teacher Representative (1)
  • Executive Members (7)
  • Aboriginal Member, elected from Aboriginal members of TAFE TA (on NSWTF Aboriginal Members Roll) (1)

Note: the positions of Vice President and Assistant Secretary may be deleted during the term of this Executive.

Nominations for the above positions open on 8 August 2015.

Written nominations that comply with the Organisation’s rules must reach the Returning Officer not later than noon on Friday, 11 September 2015. (Sydney time).

Nominations cannot be withdrawn after the close of nominations.

Candidates may submit a statement of up to 200 words in Word format, to be included with ballot material. Only statements that are received by the Returning Officer by noon on 11 September 2015 will be published.
