Nominations are called for:
- Branch President
- Branch Deputy President
- Branch Senior Vice-President
Written nominations that comply with the Organisation’s rules must reach the Returning Officer not later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 23 September 2015. Nominations cannot be withdrawn after the close of nominations.
Nomination forms are available from me or the office of the Organisation. Nomination forms are also available on the organisation’s website and on the AEC website (www.aec.gov.au). The use of these forms is not compulsory provided that nominations comply with the rules of the organisation.
Candidates may submit a statement to be included with ballot material. Only statements that comply with Rule 31(5) (d) of the AEU NSWTF Federal Branch Rules will be published. The statement must be sent in the form of an electronic file, word document (.doc) and is restricted to a maximum of 400 words and may include a passport-sized photograph. Statements and photographs (passport size as jpeg files) will not be accepted after 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 30 September 2015.
Note: Emails greater than 6 MB size may not be accepted by the AEC’s firewall.

The postal ballot, if required, will open on Wednesday, 14 October 2015 and close at 10:00 am on Wednesday, 4 November 2015.

Note: A copy of the AEC’s election report and the results can be obtained from the Organisation or from the Returning Officer after the completion of the election.
