CLEMENT NOLAN Clem trained at Armidale TC in 1947-1948. He began his teaching career at Ashford Central School. Clem filled teaching and/or Executive roles in rural primary schools such as The Lagoon, Main Arm Upper, Walgett Central and Grenfell. He taught at/Lead Metropolitan Sydney schools including Bennett Rd, Marayong, Willmot, Rosehill, Doonside and Kenthurst. Clem contributed extensively to education in NSW. He had a particular passion for Mathematics. He retired at the end of 1985 to Brunswick Heads. Clem passed away in August 2012.
BERYL NOLAN (nee English) Beryl trained at Armidale TC in 1946-1947. She was appointed to her hometown Ashford Central School. She married Clem and became Mrs Nolan in 1949. Over the next 36 years she was teacher/executive at schools including The Lagoon, Main Arm Upper, Walgett Central, St Mary’s, Mt Pritchard, Marayong, Mulyan Cowra, Walters Rd Blacktown. Beryl was dedicated to the education of children. She loved teaching, creative endeavours and her family. Beryl retired to Brunswick Heads early in 1986. Beryl passed away in July 2014
